Women Suspected of Stealing Designer Purses Wanted By Novi Police

Novi police are looking for two female suspects they think are responsible for stealing from Nordstrom at Twelve Oaks Mall on Novi Road around 2:30 p.m. April 10, according to a police report. Police suspect the women of stealing four Tory Burch designer handbags valued at $1,880, the report said. A Nordstrom employee saw the women leaving the area in a silver Dodge Magnum onto Twelve Mile Road, according to the report, but the employee did not see the vehicle's plate. The security tape showed two female suspects entering the north doors, walking apart from each other, the report said. All signs point to spring at Twelve Oaks Mall this March, as the Easter Bunny hops into the Central Park Garden display on March 8. The Easter Bunny will stay at the mall in Novi through March 30. The mall will be closed on Easter Sunday, March 31. Photos with the Easter Bunny are available for purchase, and each child who visits receives a free gift. Central Park Garden is located in the Lower Level Center Court. Photo operation hours are Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. The Easter Bunny takes brief carrot breaks throughout the day. Tin Fish Loss is The Cheesecake Factory's Gain

A Twelve Oaks Mall representative says the wildly popular chain restaurant's first Michigan location will open by the end of the year.

A Novi restaurant noted for its upscale atmosphere and live music quietly closed last week. And what's taking its place has already taken metro Detroit by storm.  The Cheesecake Factory's first Michigan location will fill the vacancy left by Tin Fish, which celebrated its opening at Twelve Oaks Mall in June of 2010. Tin Fish's Patridge Creek Mall location, on Hall Road in Clinton Township, remains open. Cheesecake Factory to Open in Twelve Oaks Mall

The Novi location will be the first Cheesecake Factory restaurant in Michigan.

The long wait is over, Michigan residents. The Cheesecake Factory announced today that it will open a location at Novi's Twelve Oaks Mall later this year. The popular national restaurant chain, whose claim to fame is its huge selection of cheesecakes and desserts, can be found in nearly three dozen states. This would be the company's first official location in Michigan. However, some might say the restaurant chain got its start here. David Overton, founder and CEO of the Cheesecake Factory, grew up in Detroit. Make a Wish Gives Local Teen Shopping Spree at Macy's

Sarah Cash, 18, was granted her wish of a shopping adventure at Twelve Oaks Mall on Friday.

It's every teenage girl's dream to have a personal shopping spree at the mall, and on Friday, one local girl's dream came true. Sarah Cash of Trenton, who was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s disease earlier this year, was given a shopping adventure at Macy's by the Make a Wish Foundation. Sarah's wish was for a shopping day, and what she got was free reign of Macy's and the rest of Twelve Oaks Mall with the help of a personal shopper, plus a makeover by a Macy's cosmetics technician and transportation in a limo. Pets Can Take Photos with Santa Sunday

Bring your pet to Twelve Oaks Mall to get a photo keepsake.

Photos with Santa aren't just for children anymore.  The public is invited to bring their pets big and small to pose with Santa on Sunday, Dec. 2 from 9-10:45 a.m. in Center Court at Twelve Oaks Mall.
