A new women's fashion store has opened in Novi Town Center. Dots, which opened in mid-October, offers clothing, jewelry, lingerie, perfumes, shoes and more. Clothes come in sizes 0-24, and the store caters to women ages 25-35. Store manager Janette Khalaf said what makes Dots stand out from other women's stores is its customer service. "Our customers are definitely more important to us than anything," she said. She added that ladies can also get trendy clothes at Dots for great prices. Fifth Avenue Club & Restaurant is looking to reopen its doors on Novi Road. The Novi City Council welcomed the business back by granting it one of the city's two remaining liquor licenses at its meeting Monday night. When Marcy Watters found out that her 2-year-old daughter had been diagnosed with Celiac disease, she had to make some major changes to her grocery list. Ali could no longer have gluten, a protein found in many foods processed from wheat and other grains. When Watters couldn't find what she needed in stores, she began baking her own gluten-free goods for her daughter at home.
