Win a Hotel Stay and Mother's Day Brunch at The Baronette Renaissance in Novi

With Mother's Day around the corner, Patch is looking for the best nuggets of truths and pearls of wisdom from the woman who raised you or any other influential woman in your life.

Tell us in the comments the words you remember most from mom and win an overnight stay on May 11 at Novi's The Baronette Renaissance. We'll pick one winner by random drawing.

Besides the overnight stay for two on May 11, the The Baronette Renaissance package will include a Mother's Day brunch for four in the facility's grand ballroom at 11 a.m. May 12. The menu includes carving, omlette and salad stations as well as a variety of entrees. There also is a menu just for kids, which includes a waffle bar.

The rules:

• Open to legal residents of the 50 United States, the District of Columbia who are 21 and older.
• To enter, add a comment at the end of this article, stating the best advice you ever got from your mother. Keep it clean.
• All entries must be received by 9 p.m. Wednesday, May. 8 Eastern Time.
• You may enter once.
• One winner will be selected in a random drawing.
• One (1) Grand Prize Winner will receive one overnight stay for two on May 11 at the Hotel Baronette in Novi. The package will include an 11 a.m. brunch for four at the hotel on May 12. Approximate Retail Value: $350. Transportation to/from the hotel NOT included in the prize and will be the responsibility of the winner.
