CPR, New Novi Town Center Business, Plans Grand Opening Celebration

Owner Dan Di Sebastian says he opened the business to help create jobs, after losing his job of 30 years to a business bankruptcy.

Imagine that you open the lid of your washer only to discover that you left your cell phone in the pocket of your jeans. Both are squeaky clean and very wet.

CPR (Cell Phone Repair) owner Dan Di Sebastian says that happened to one of his customers, who got her phone back in working order. Those kinds of electronic miracles happen every day in his business, a franchise Di Sebastian bought after losing his automotive job of 30 years to a business bankruptcy.

"I decided I would see if I could get some people back to work," the Northville resident said.

CPR (Cell Phone Repair) opened Jan. 20, next door to Biggby in the Novi Town Center on Grand River, and plans a March 15 ribbon cutting and March 16 grand opening celebration. Di Sebastian said his store is one of 120 across the country and two in Michigan.

In addition to any make or model cell phone, CPR (Cell Phone Repair) repairs gaming systems, laptops, tablets, MP3 players and cameras. The time it takes depends on the type of repair; a cracked cell phone screen can be fixed in about an hour, De Sebastian said.
